Organizations We Support
The Eric Jason Bader Foundation honors Eric’s life by carrying forward the qualities and passions that defined him. Eric was an artist, an athlete, a mentor, and a devoted father who understood the lasting difference that opportunity, encouragement, and personal support can make in a young person’s life. Through scholarships and partnerships in sports, the arts, education, and emotional well-being, the Foundation helps young people discover their abilities, develop confidence and resilience, and pursue their potential. Each opportunity we create reflects Eric’s generous spirit and ensures that his legacy continues through the lives of the young people we support.
We fund an annual scholarship through the Asphalt Green Soccer Club, enabling a young athlete who began in Asphalt Green’s free Community Soccer League at Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx to continue developing through competitive club soccer. The scholarship creates a pathway for a promising player to receive advanced training and experience the teamwork, discipline, and confidence that come from participating at a higher level.
The Foundation funds an annual scholarship at Huntington Fine Arts, providing a young artist with sustained instruction and mentorship in drawing, painting, and sculpture. This support reflects Eric’s own passion for art and helps a developing artist strengthen their skills, confidence, and individual creative voice.
We support Hit the Books and its work with young people in Harlem. By combining academic support and tutoring with mentoring and mixed martial arts, Hit the Books helps participants grow intellectually, emotionally, and physically while developing discipline, resilience, confidence, and a strong work ethic.
The Foundation provides an annual scholarship through North Park Hockey, enabling a young athlete to participate in organized youth hockey. The experience offers opportunities to develop athletic ability, character, teamwork, and sportsmanship, both on and off the ice.
We support Counseling In Schools and its work promoting the emotional and social well-being of New York City students. By placing mental health professionals and youth-development specialists directly within school communities, Counseling In Schools helps children build on their strengths, overcome challenges, and thrive in school and in life.
